Washington Post
I had the great pleasure of collaborating with the folks at the Washington Post on their annual Kennedy Centre Honors feature. The titles were designed to be simple and elegant to support the incredible photographs shot by Jesse Dittmar.

Hancock & Handsome is a photographic and production agency and sister agency to applauded illustration and design reps Handsome Frank. I did a basic identity design for them that would tie the two brands together, giving them a sense of parity and connection, making sure they had a stylistic tie in without the H&H branding without looking like a simple re-work or sub-brand of the HF logo.
The goal was also to create something with personality while remaining elastic and neutral enough to complement any style or content of photography without accidentally imparting any secondary layer of tone or meaning to the content, allowing the artisits work to speak in the way it was intended.
