I had the great honour of designing the cover for the National Geographic 'Yellowstone' edition. The issue is a broad and in-depth look into the multi-faceted landscape that is Yellowstone and as such the cover had to reflect the rich history and diversity of the park while not focusing on any specific aspect. The illustration references both the history of the park and the magazine and features a painting done for the National Park Service by noted Austrian panoramist Heinrich Berann. There we multiple iterations including shelf, subscriber and iPad versions.
